At Dayananda Vidyalaya Mat. Hr.Sec.School we believe that a strong spiritual foundation fosters inner strength and resilience. To ignite this spark in our students, we begin each day by chanting the Gayatri Mantra during assembly. This daily practice cultivates awareness and connects them to their rich cultural heritage. Further enriching their spiritual journey, we hold a “Havan” ceremony every Saturday. These rituals not only imbue our students with traditional values but also equip them to confidently embrace the challenges of the modern world.
We are committed to providing an excellent academic environment. Our faculty comprises renowned scholars who are well-versed in their subjects and understand the unique needs of young learners. Employing innovative teaching methods and leveraging technology, they create a stimulating atmosphere that fosters a love for learning.
To ensure the holistic development of every student, we believe in open communication and collaboration. We hold Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) every first and third Saturday, providing a platform for parents and teachers to exchange feedback and work together to guide each child’s educational journey.
Dayananda Vidyalaya Mat. Hr.Sec.School came into being on July 05, 2012 with the objective of providing quality education and shape-up the children as responsible citizens of tomorrow so as to contribute to the well-being of self, family and the Nation.
The name of the school ‘Dayananda’ stands for Pujya Sri Swami Dayananda Saraswathi’, who was instrumental in establishing the institution. Swamiji had extended financial support and all the help needed to M/s Manam Malarattum Trust towards making the school endeavour a reality.
The trustees of M/s Manam Malarattum Trust, who are a group of youngsters, are actively involved in cultural development and community services in and around Yelagiri and Javvadhu hills region with the support of Pujya Sri Dayananda Saraswathi.
The Trust has helped over 12000 students to accomplish their academic dreams as on date. The ‘Sandhya Gurukulam’ classes conducted by the Trust for the students from Govt. schools in villages made a significant positive difference to the communities in the region.
The school M/s Dayananda Vidyalaya, that began modestly just with 9 teachers, 3 assistants and 172 students emerged as one of the most credible academic institutions with exceptional track record.
The co-educational institution recognized by Govt. of Tamilnadu has 891 students from LKG to XII std now and impart English medium education with distinct standards under matriculation stream.
